A Bridge to St. Michael Indian School

June 4, 2013 by Heather Murphy-Garcia

For the past several years, Immaculate Conception has been a recipient of the generous volunteer service offered by Big Sunday.  This year, in addition to a morning of sprucing up our campus, the students “paid it forward” by participating in a drive to send school materials, clothes and other items to St. Michael Indian School in Arizona.  Since we have been blessed by the generosity of our sister school in so many ways, we wanted to take action to be a blessing to others in need.  In addition to a truckload of materials delivered to St. Michael’s by John McKenna, our Director of Marketing and Development , the students had a “Penny Challenge” and collected over $250 to send to St. Michael’s.
