At Immaculate Conception School, art is appreciated in all its forms, whether by creating it for artistic endeavor or as a means to process and aid their mental health. ICS is proud to be a partner of the Art Trek program, which provides the tools and resources for an art curriculum that applies the concepts and skills learned in their classrooms to the study and creation of art projects that are inspired from cultures around the world.
Additionally, Immaculate Conception, in partnership with the Catholic Schools Collaborative and Loyola Marymount’s Helen B. Landgarten Art Therapy clinic provides FREE art therapy & mental health counseling to students. The goal is to promote Social Emotional Learning that increases communication, coping skills & decision-making skills to better support learning outcomes.
