Catholic Education Foundation Scholarship (CEF)
ICS’s Mission is to provide a quality Catholic education to any family, regardless of income or faith-background. The Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) provides tuition assistance to the most financially deserving students at Archdiocesan schools . Its purpose is to make Catholic education accessible to students in need because it lays the foundation for academic achievement and develops values for family, community, and service.
All ICS students are eligible for the need-based Tuition Award Program (TAP) offered by the Catholic Education Foundation. Each eligible student who applies and meets requirements is invited to apply for a $1,000 scholarship award. Please see below for income guidelines and application.

Accepted Financial Documentation
- This year’s current and completed income tax returns (1040s) or
- This year’s W-2s or end-of-year pay stubs.
- Formal letter of disbursement for Unemployment, Disability and/or Social Security.
- Formal letter of disbursement for Cal Fresh, Cal Works, and/or WIC.
- Court order of alimony and/or child support.
- Please note, if you do not file tax returns, it is required that you submit a notarized statement of income. If this form is needed please obtain it from the school office.
